Mentorship and Collaboration
Are you a trainee looking to learn a new technique. Or are you a primary investigator who needs a collaborator capable of performing a specific form of microscopy? If so, we can help connect you with the right people. Please contact us with the following information, and we will do our best to find the right mentor or collaborator to help you with your research:
- A description of the scientific problem you are trying to address.
- A description of the samples you are trying to analyze (e.g. cultured cells, tissue sections, etc).
- The method(s) you need assistance with, or if you don’t know the specific method, a general description of what you are trying to achieve or measure.
- Whether you are looking for mentorship, collaboration, or both.

Grants and Funding
Micrographia@Western is here to support your funding applications. Please contact us for grant support including, but not limited to:
- Identification and recruitment of collaborators.
- Identification of core facilities capable of supporting the proposed research.
- Suggestions on experimental design and microscopy approaches amenable to your research.
- Letters of support indicating:
- Micrographia@Westerns programs offerings and how they help improve the quality of your science.
- Description of relevant training programs that support the technical needs of your research.
- Descriptions of training costs, to help justify your budget requests.
